Engine: Volvo D2-55 four-cylinder diesel driving through a reduction gearbox and straight propshaft to a bronze, folding 3-blade Flexofold propeller (new 2017), giving 7.5 kts at 2000 RPM or economical cruising at 6 kts (15-1600 RPM).
Very well maintained from new, it has run c.1200 hours to date, and was deep-serviced 2016, including new sea water pump and new electric hot water tank and/ heat exchanger/ calorifier. New stern gland, cutlass bearing and cooling water pipes 2017.
Fuel consumption is circa 2.5 litres per hour at 1500 RPM (6kts). 'Ambassador’ rope stripper fitted to prop shaft.
Bow thruster (SidePower SP35S; new gearbox and enhanced-thrust prop 2016) faired into bow, with controls at binnacle; powered from 540AH AGM (gel) Service Batteries (new 2015, on newly installed rib-shelves) to largely eliminate the potential for power fade.
Engine start battery 110 AH (new 2017)
Engine fitted (2016) with: coolant overflow reservoir; and SeaFire extinguisher with bell alarm (with OFF switch) to notify crew of automatic operation.

Topsides painted with Awlcraft 2000 (epoxy paint, Carinthia Blue, matches faded Navy Blue hull gelcoat below) 2017. ‘Coppercoat’ antifouling/ epoxy system first applied 2012; retouched on each annual Spring slipping since.
Berths Layout: double cabin forward to starboard; double cabin aft to port with large athwartships berth, double berth on drop-down main saloon table, and single berth with lea-cloth for off-watch crew amidships portside; all cabins fitted with curtains and blackouts; twin heads and showers (heads pipes renewed 2016).
Forecabin: owners’ double berth offset to starboard, 2x large drawers under, cabin lights and reading lights all LED, hatches over; portholes; blackout screens and curtains; storage cupboards, flat screen TV, Monitor & DVD, dressing seat; cabin heater hot air outlet; ship’s technical library shelf (full set of instruction manuals).
Forward heads and shower room: manual sea toilet; escape hatch over; sink unit to starboard; cabin heater hot air outlet, mirrors and lockers on both sides.
Main Saloon: flat screen TV and monitor on port bulkhead enables nav plotter display to be visible from the cockpit. Settee berths on both sides, stowage space under and behind berths; opening hatches over; fixed stand-alone double seat unit port side of main cabin table (table can be dropped and infilled as double bed space); stepped mast support pole in Main Saloon; blackout screens; reading lights.
In this ‘Owner’s Version’ there is an enlarged galley at the starboard aft of the saloon, well equipped and with companionway bulkhead behind the standing position it safely restricts movement when under way; front-loading refrigerator and top-loading cold storage locker.
Gas supply system safety checked and serviced in 2016. New smoke detectors in main saloon and forecabin 2016, new carbon monoxide detector in aft cabin 2016.
Microwave oven available: powered by shore power, or FP generator, or by 540AH service battery bank to the 600W inverter, so no power worries, anywhere!
Main cabin/ aft cabin heads and shower room: manual sea toilet; sink unit and shower faucet; mirror and locker.
