Blackness Marine, the boat storage and dry store boatyard on the banks of the beautiful River Dart are holding an open day event in support of the RNLI Dart Lifeboat on Sunday 20th June. The event starts at 2pm and everyone is invited to come along and join in the festivities.

David and Becky from Blackness Marine have organised various activities to keep everyone entertained including a rescue display by the Navy and RNLI, tractor rides for the children, beat the goalie, a nature trail, local meat BBQ and Cream Teas with music throughout the event. The Tombola has some excellent prizes too. Everyone coming is invited to bring their own beer, wine, sunscreen, umbrellas (we hope not!) and join us for what we hope will be a great time.

Boatshed Dartmouth the no sale no fee yacht brokers based in offices in Totnes will be at the event and pleased to meet both buyers and sellers of used boats across the South Hams.

Last years event was a great success and this years looks set to be equally fun and packed with plenty of events for the whole family.

At Boatshed we are pleased to support our local community, businesses and of course the RNLI who rely entirely on voluntary donations to fund their vital work. As RNLI Ambassadors Boatshed Dartmouth also provide one year’s membership to all purchasers of boats through the Boatshed Dartmouth brokerage.
