Broker's Comments
This lovely De Vries Lentsch is really very easy on the eye and should attract attention, wherever she goes!
The Dutch shipyard, De Vries Lentsch was founded in 1874. Originally constructing wooden rowing boats, they progressed to small traditional Dutch sailing craft and then changed to building in steel and dominated the market for many years.
In 1960 the design arm separated and continues today in Edam, responsible for drawing some of the most well known steel superyachts in the world.
We don't know a great deal about the history of this particular De Vries yacht, built by Doornbos Yard - she refitted a couple of years ago, before the current vendors purchased her.
She appears really solid, the hull looks fair, she's recently painted and a high quality looking original fit out down below has been well maintained and feels dry and fresh.
She has a full set of high quality looking and very recent upper deck canvas works.
Some sympathetic changes have been made down below and I felt instantly cosy and at home, once inside - it really is a lovely place to be and could envisage extended stays and cruises on board.
