Neil and Mandy Chapman founders of Boatshed Yacht Brokers decided to take a few hours off during a recent visit to the Boatshed Falmouth office, to visit the Maritime Museum.
If you are mad about boats you will love this place. What was planned as a quick look ended up being a visit for several hours.
"I could have stayed a week" claimed Neil.
Here is a selection of photos of the museum.
Mandy from Boatshed took to the idea of sailing aboard Hugo Vihlen's yacht "Fathers Day" in which he sailed the Atlantic in 105 days. Interestingly Mandy is actually 6 inches longer than the boat itself !
The boat holds the record for the smallest yacht to have ever crossed the Atlantic at 5'4". Now that's mad about boats :-)
